When you get two 4 year olds in a photo shoot, you know to expect the unexpected! These two kept me on my toes, but having a daughter exactly the same age, I was totally used to that! This was my 3rd year to document this family and I look forward to continuing to watch them grow over the years. We did several awesome wall pieces from this shoot including a 54 inch gallery wrap for the breakfast room and a gorgeous custom framed piece for Miss N’s room.

I wrapped up photographing round 2 of my “Holiday Specials” on Saturday. We had beautiful weather AND happy children… the perfect combination! I don’t usually post sneak peaks, but there were 3 sweet babies I just had to show a few photographs of! I can’t wait to edit these sessions and show the families all of the amazing shots we got.

I have been working on Holiday Cards for some of my summer shoots and found a gem that never made it to the blog! Love these 3 kids! Each has the most expressive eyes and the sweetest personalities to go with them. The oldest boy is such a little gentleman and has permission to date either of my daughters in the future.

Oh and to Mom and Dad… you can’t escape my camera forever… next time you two are joining them in the shoot!

The S kids participated in my Matilda Jane Fashion Shoot special…and these two children were so much fun to photograph! Miss C is such a ham for the camera and Mr. G was fun to chase around. He gave me a work out! I loved the converse shoes that mom picked out for the shoot. The one of the final products was an awesome Storyboard for their playroom, complete with Wild Sorbet frame.

What an amazing time I had photographing these three cuties! I loved the look of this family’s Tuscan style home, and encouraged mom to do the session there. She was open to anything I wanted to photograph…including letting her 2 year old wear boots on their beautiful dining room table! I thinking the end result was totally worth it! These children have some modeling in their future….what amazing eyes they all have!

This was a really special shoot for me! I have been photographing Mr. R since he was still in the womb and have documented his growth over his first year. This “day-in-life” session consisted of many of the special aspects of this little boy’s life, including his evening routine with his family and his special relationship with his dog. The Esquell Family came in for their family portrait last month. What a sweet family! I always say, as a photographer, I justify not going to the gym because I chase kids and brides around all day. Baby it’s COLD Outside…

I love cold weather. Maybe because in Texas it is hot 80% of the time. This was one of those cold days, and this little cutie was so fun to work with! Despite the fact it was FREEZING outside, he was happy and cooperative! What more could a photographer ask for? My fingers were almost too cold to operate my camera, but I can’t resist adorable children in cute hats:) What a fun session!

When I found out that we had a chance of snow in Round Rock, I jumped all over it!Â Lucky for me, I had just acquired my new (or old) antique sofa and I had a great antique sled as part of my Christmas decor.Â Since all we got were flurries, I helped with my own “snow magic” to get some to stick.Â But the freezing temperature and red noses…those were for real.Â Luckily, my girls didn’t get sick…and they were heavily rewarded with hot chocolate, EXTRA marshmellows, and a warm fireplace.

OK, Ms. K …today is the day!Â I don’t need to call, because I know you will have already checked the blog:)Â Here is a sneak peak before your ordering session tomorrow.

They told me it was supposed to rain…I said a “chance of rain” isn’t worth thinking about unless it is over 60%.Â (what do I know?)Â It started raining 2 minutes into the shoot.Â So we made the best of it and had a lot of fun in the process…thank God for awnings!Â Miss A is a little diva and a total ham in front of the camera.Â And Mr. C??Â Check out those amazing baby blues!Â Can’t wait to show you the rest of them!
