Elise and Justin got married at Villa Antonia just outside of Austin, Texas. Their wedding was soft and romantic…while their reception was quite the party!! The perfect combination.

Cassie and Adrian are the sweetest couple and I really enjoyed working with them through their engagement and wedding. It sometimes surprises me the images that turn out to be my favorites from a wedding, but for them…I fell in love with the simplicity of these shots. I think it reflected their personality as a couple….quiet and romantic.

It’s hard to believe that Kristin and Dave have been married 5 years! When I shot their engagement portraits back then, we didn’t have the best luck with locations… everywhere we went that day, the spots were booked for private events. So this year when they decided to freshen up the portraits in their house, we tried again for all those spots that didn’t work out the first time around.

Even though Dave HATES taking photographs, I finally got him to loosen up and have a little fun (maybe??) Kristin, tell Dave that image #2 is for over the fireplace!

Heather and Aaron had a beautiful wedding at The Plantation House in Pflugerville, Texas. I loved the soft, romantic flowers and we were blessed with an amazing sunset! Being car enthusiasts, their grand exit was a perfect fit…. smoking tires and all!

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog this session! One of my top three favorite bridal sessions in the past few months. I loved the hot pink accents that Heather added in her shoes and flowers. What an awesome addition to an already stunning bride!

The first thing H&A told me when the scheduled their engagement portrait session, is that they LOVED their cars! So of course we had to get their “babies” in one of the photographs. I love the red accents Ms. H pulled into her accessories. I had a lot of favorites from this session, but the car shot is what is making it to the mantel at their home.

I look forward to their Plantation House wedding in a few weeks!

I always love shooting an Aggie wedding! And that is just what I got with these two! K&D met as Fish Camp Counselors at Texas A&M and love grew from there. Either one were from Austin, so it was a destination wedding for most of the guests.

They had a classic black, white and red these and lots of personal touches (including steel drums that played for the recessional and during the cocktail hour.

Lauren and Jeff had a beautiful wedding at Tarrytown Methodist Church with the reception following at the Stephen F. Austin Hotel. I loved the details and special touches they added to their wedding to make it their own. Since both do triathlons, each table at the reception was named for a different race they had done. Their centerpieces were elegant tulips in bright orange and yellows. One of my favorite touches was the dessert bar they brought out late in the night for guest to feast upon (both the bride and groom have a bit of a sweet tooth!). It was an honor to be their photographer and capture the memories of their special day.

I had a great time with Jamie and Jeremy at their downtown engagement session.Â This couple has amazing energy and were total naturals in front of the camera.Â The colors were so beautiful in these images, I just couldn’t stand to do a lot of black and white.Â Jamie, you are going to HAVE to do an album just for engagements!Â Enjoy the sneak peek…there’s more to come

{Adam & Miriam’s Driskell Wedding}- Austin Wedding Photographer

Miriam and Adam had the most beautiful wedding at the Driskell Hotel in downtown Austin.Â It was a destination wedding for the majority of the guests, so the weekend was filled with festivities and fun.

I loved when Adam toasted his bride, he said, “I asked her if she would join me on this adventure…and she said yes.”Â I think that sums up this couple perfectly… and they will have a wonderful adventure ahead of them. (They even kicked it off with a safari in Africa…umm….didn’t they need a photographer for that??)

They changed clothes for their first dance and performed this awesome Tango…Dancing with the Stars has nothing on them!

After the reception, we headed down 6th street for some fun after party shots.Â We had a blast!

Wow!Â This session was a hard edit…how do you narrow down when you have such an adorable couple?!?Â Amy and Matt came in town for their engagement session last week and we had so much fun breaking in Amy’s heels while we hiked downtown.Â Matt got to wear his signature color…white…and I tried really hard to keep it clean. (I am glad it wasn’t ME laying on those gross sidewalks )Â As a photographer, it’s always fun to try out a new location, so we tried a few spots I haven’t done in a while.

They are such a fun loving couple and I am really looking forward to their Villa Antonia wedding in November.Â I couldn’t pick just a few photographs, so there are many for your viewing pleasure!
