Wow…what a stunning senior! I had so much fun working with Stephanie and making our rounds around Austin. Her hair and makeup were awesome and she brought some great outfits for the shoot.

Mom did a gorgeous grouping in the purple outfit complete with purple and silver framing…I am not going to let it out of my studio!!

Meet Brandon. My Brother, the Actor. In need of a fresh headshot, he decided fly home to Austin for his updated look and let Sister, the Photographer, help him out.

My 4 year old saw me editing his shoot and said, “Mommy, is THAT Uncle Brandon?? He is GORGEOUS!”

I laughed so hard!! He is, but it’s funny to hear it from her:)

I am really proud of this guy. He’s been coast to coast working on his career, and is in the final weeks of finishing is graduate work at Rutgers University. So when you see him on the big stage or big screen…you saw him here FIRST! And hopefully when he wins his first Oscar, he’ll give a shout out to his sister!

Jenna is sophisticated without even trying. She describes her fashion sense as “simple”, but I think she is so elegant. She is so poised and sweet, it’s hard to make anything but beautiful photographs of her!

The baby in a family of 3 girls (all of which I have photographed over the years), Jenna is ready to follow her sisters to Texas A&M (whoop!). Thanks for allowing me to create your senior portraits!

{Piano Man}

Chad was such a classy guy! His big thing is music and especially piano…so for his senior portraits, finding a setting that incorporated his great love for music was a must. Here are a few images from his photography session. The first one was his favorite and will soon be hanging in a gorgeous custom frame over his piano at home.

That is the song that popped in my head when I looked at this image from my senior shoot yesterday. Admittedly, I had to google the remaining lyrics from there, but it made me think that warmer weather is finally here to stay!

I am sooo ready for SPRING!! I am ready to plant flowers, hunt Easter eggs and fly kites. I am also ready to pull out some fun new props I have been crafting throughout February for kids, seniors and the upcoming wedding season.

So I am just now getting caught up on all of my late Fall shoots…I was swamped during the holidays and needed a break to enjoy the time with my family.Â Hope you enjoy all the new posts!

Miss Sara didn’t let a little ran dampen her spirits!Â We had a great shoot…even with the last minute change in location.Â I loved the earthy tones she brought for wardrobe and the cowboy boots took me back to her sister’s senior session a few years back.

I know you have been waiting (patiently), Sara!Â Here you go…
