Miss Annley is one of the tiniest babies I have seen in a while. Weighing in at just 5 pounds, 8 ounces…she is definitely an itty bitty! And oh so sweet… she definitely melts your heart the second you lay eyes on her.

I was fortunate enough to be there to photograph this sweet baby’s birth a few months back. I have helped this family document many of life’s precious moments including Mom and Dad’s wedding, portraits of their oldest son and the birth of their second son. Oone of the best parts about my job is getting to watch families grow over the years.

Wow….what an awesome opportunity to document the birth of Baby Cohen!

It’s hard to find words to express what it was like to be a part of such a precious moment. Although I have had 2 children of my own, I have never “witnessed” a birth. Amazing….simple amazing. I know these images will be cherished memories for this family forever!

With the arrival of Baby Cohen just weeks away (and his Birth Story coming soon…) Mom, Dad and Big Brother had a maternity session to mark the final weeks of the pregnancy. I love maternity portraits…I love how glowing and happy Mom is…and I love that it captures a moment that is gone so soon.

I love his eyes and perfect bald head! This portrait session marked Elliott turning 8 months and a gift for Dad, who is a huge Rangers fan.

That 20×20 gallery wrap, is going to look awesome in his office!! Way to go, Mom! I hear it may also be the center piece for E’s Baseball themed First Birthday… love that idea!

What a busy life it is with three children! Mom definitely has her plate full with a growing adolescent, a toddler, and a newborn baby. Something tells me there is a lot of team sports and at home wrestling matches this family’s future.

I love the glow of a mom-to-be! They are so excited and anxious about the baby…a little (or a lot nervous)…and just READY to hold their new baby in their arms. It is such a precious time and yet gone in a moment. That is why it is so important to document the pregnancy stage…that MOMENT with THAT child inside of you is something you will never get back.

Becky radiates that glow and excitement! Isn’t she GORGEOUS?? And can you believe that she was due in 3 weeks? What a perfect little baby bump.

Meet Baby Elliott. This precious little newborn is Baby #2 for my BFF, Lisa. He and Big Sis Zoe are just 14 months apart, so Mom and Dad have a busy next couple of years ahead of them. My own girls love this family and have affectionately named their own baby dolls, Zoe and Elliott. The first photo on the line up is the one we did for a 20×30 gallery wrap for his Rock-N-Roll nursery. It looks AMAZING!!

Seriously! Can this family be more perfect?? Little Hayden is such a heart breaker and always charms me every time I photograph him. His mom and dad are just the perfect couple and as sweet as can be…and Mom is just a natural beauty with such poise in front of the camera.

This is my second time to shoot this family this season. First Mom’s side of the family in Dallas a few weeks ago, and now Dad’s side of the family here in Austin. I told Kristi she is going to have her work cut out for her with TWO amazing sessions to work off of. We are going to have to do an album to get it all in (or buy a bigger house:)

….but you can’t take Texas out of the girl! Baby Julia came in with her parents while on vacation from California. Both parents being native Texans themselves, had to get a few shots of Baby J sporting her Red, White and Blue. She was so happy during the shoot and had plenty of gummy smiles for me. We ended up designing several great pieces from this shoot including a great gallery wrap for her bedroom.

I wrapped up photographing round 2 of my “Holiday Specials” on Saturday. We had beautiful weather AND happy children… the perfect combination!
