Focal Point Photographics began in 2001 when I shot my first wedding. Since then, my company has grown to be a full circle portrait studio shooting weddings, babies, children, family, high school seniors and weddings again. I love it all! I believe everyone should have a beautiful family history recorded in photographs and I love helping to tell the stories.
I met the love of my life, Blake, on a photo shoot as luck would have it and we were married in 2005. We had our first Angel Baby in November 2006 and our second Angel Baby in August 2008. They are my 3 cheerleaders and biggest fans.
Next week is A&M’s wedding at the Driskell Hotel in Austin, Texas. I am looking so forward to it…this couple is so FUN!! Here are the pages from the custom designed guest book we did for their wedding day ( we did their engagement session a few months ago in downtown Austin.)
Miss J is like a Big Sister to my girls…they love her! So for her birthday, I took Miss J out to do a portrait session and be a model for the day. We had to compromise on the wardrobe…8 year olds won’t just wear whatever you tell them to (unlike my own children who wear whatever I put on them!) But Miss J put up with me and so I treated her to a happy hour Sonic.
I met Miss L’s Mommy and Daddy when I shot their wedding at the Plantation House a few years back. After that, Ms. J and I struck up a friendship and she ended up working for me for a few years. As a result, I have photographed this family a LOT 
 I was so excited to photograph Miss L’s newborn portraits and I look forward to watching her grow up!
I have had the honor of capturing many of the important moments in the G Family’s life. I photographed their wedding a few years back at Villa Antonia (in Austin, Texas), I photographed Miss M as a newborn and am continuing on through her first year.

Ms A came in for a maternity portrait session a few weeks ago. I love photographing maternity, because I truly believe it is one of the most special times of life ( did I mention I loved being pregnant?) We had a great time at this shoot, and I can’t wait to meet their new baby boy in October!
Here are a few favorites…
sniff, sniff…this little one is mine! I am sad to say my BABY is now turning in to a toddler (although, her little legs sprint more than toddle.) She is so precious and so happy all the time.  As a photographer, it is hard to make time to photograph your own children…but I try to work a few shots in here and there. These are a few One Year Baby Portraits I took for her Birthday Party. Not her “official” One Year Portrait, but too sweet not to share.
I photographed A&E’s wedding at Vintage Villas in Austin, Texas earlier this year. Recently, I delivered their album to them and thought I would share some of the pages from this winter wedding.
