Focal Point Photographics began in 2001 when I shot my first wedding. Since then, my company has grown to be a full circle portrait studio shooting weddings, babies, children, family, high school seniors and weddings again. I love it all! I believe everyone should have a beautiful family history recorded in photographs and I love helping to tell the stories.
I met the love of my life, Blake, on a photo shoot as luck would have it and we were married in 2005. We had our first Angel Baby in November 2006 and our second Angel Baby in August 2008. They are my 3 cheerleaders and biggest fans.
A sneak peak at wedding photographs from B and B’s gorgeous day. The wedding was at The Vineyard at Florence (one of the Austin area’s hot new venues!) I know the rain was really stressful on Ms. B, but for photographs?? Amazing!! The grey skies made for great images…and besides…rain on your wedding day means you will be RICH!
…come again ANOTHER day!! I have done family portraits for both of these families, but this time it was GIRLS ONLY! After cousin number 1 drove all the way from San Antonio to Georgetown for there portrait session…it started raining (or POURING!) two minutes before I started photographing. But the show must go on, and we had a lot of fun improvising. Actually, I think the girls had more fun BECAUSE of it! Not fun for me when I got back to my car and realized my car windows were rolled down during the monsoon. Hey…as long as the camera stays dry, I am good.

J and K had an amazing wedding at Villa Antonia. They are so in love, it is adorable. Ms. J is such a natural beauty and so easy to photograph. Both they engagement and bridal portraits were so much fun to shoot, and the wedding held true to my expectations! Everything about the day was perfect…and the Amy’s Ice Cream instead of Groom’s cake??  YUM!
Can this little sweetie be any cuter? Miss Kate was one of the children from my Matilda Jane Special Edition portrait sessions. What better way to celebrate your third birthday? She has a baby brother or sister on the way in a few months, so I look forward to photographing the family with their new baby!
Miss M got lucky for her MJ shoot…no RAIN! She had fun prissing around without her two brothers in tow. Here are a couple favorites from her portrait session…
Five years ago I shot baby and family portraits for The B family when Brother A was a newborn…and now I get to meet the newest addition! This family is so sweet and Brother A is so good with “his baby”. This session was done at the studio here in Round Rock.

Ms J did her bridal portraits at Villa Antonia (same location as her wedding). There is so many areas to shoot out there, it’s hard to get it all in the day of the wedding. So it was nice to have a few hours out there prior to the wedding day…April Skinner at Salon Kerizma did her hair and make up (I highly recommend her).
I am so glad Ms. J came in to do maternity portraits and document her last pregnant days with me. Doesn’t she just look glowing?? Can’t wait to meet Princess #2!
